Vanilla Custard & Strawberry Swirls

After cooking the pudding thick and letting it cool, whip it with cream using a mixer until fluffy.
For decorating
Instructions
1. Work the flour blend together with the water and soft butter. Knead into an elastic dough, then let it rest for 30 minutes.
2. Roll the risen dough out on a floured surface to 7–8 mm (about ⅓ in) thick.
3. Spread the vanilla cream over it, then distribute the strawberry jam and scatter the fresh strawberry pieces on top.
4. Cut the dough into strips, then roll each one up.
5. Arrange the rolls in a parchment-lined pie dish, cover, and let them rise for another 60 minutes.
6. Then bake in a 160 °C (320 °F) convection oven for about 25 minutes until done.
7. Finally, drizzle the tops with melted white chocolate, sprinkle with almonds, and serve garnished with fresh strawberries.
Tip
Be careful not to add too much pudding or jam — with too much filling it's hard to roll up, and the dough easily slips apart.
Baking suggestion
Bake the swirls in a 160 °C (320 °F) convection oven for about 25 minutes, until they're baked through and take on a light golden color.
